A Good Life in Moraga, CA

With a population of under 20,000 and nearly three times the median household income of San Francisco proper,  the town of Moraga is a gem nestled only 35 minutes from San Francisco’s Financial District.  Incorporated as a Town in 1973 within one of the largest bay area counties,  it was named for Joaquin Moraga who lived in the 19th century and whose grandfather was the first commandant of The Presidio in San Francisco. It is an excellent place to live well and raise a family. Its local high school is ranked as one of the best in the Bay Area and it is the home of  St. Mary’s College.
